An urban-tourism revolution in northern Ashkelon

Ashkelon continues to develop at a dizzying pace, and this time with a new giant plan that will place it on the map of leading cities in Israel – not only in terms of housing, but also in tourism and leisure. The Southern District Planning and Building Committee has approved the plan for the golf complex in northern Ashkelon, a large-scale initiative by the Israel Land Authority (ILA) that will include:

1,260 new housing units

650 hotel rooms

A huge golf park covering approximately 620 dunams

Commercial spaces, public buildings and a new promenade

This is one of the most impressive and ambitious projects approved in recent years in the city, with tremendous potential for tourism and economic development - and also for improving property values throughout the area.
